It is HDCP compatible up to version 2.2 and also equipped with the common DisplayPort locking system as well as support for the MST (Multi Stream Transport) technology, which allows multiple monitors to be operated simultaneously with just one DisplayPort output. The cable also supports the so-called Display Stream Compression (DSC 1.2), which automatically compresses AV signals that exceed the max. possible bandwidth so they can still be transmitted. Forward error correction, full HDR and Rec.2020 color space support, and up to 32 audio channels are also part of DisplayPort version 1.4.With triple shielding and the use of high-purity solid-core copper conductors, PureInstall DisplayPort cables are very well protected against EMI, including interference from cell phones and radio sources. The precision connectors with ABS plastic housing and gold-plated contacts guarantee a perfect connection with maximum transmission quality as well as durable protection from corrosion. With an outer diameter of only 4.5 or 7.5mm, an extremely small bending radius and an outer jacket made of flexible PVC, it can also be used in confined environments such as behind the TV or in racks. The cable has passed the VW-1 test and is thus flame retardant and suitable for critical areas. It does not have UL CL2 certification.The black PI5010 DisplayPort cables are available as passive, VESA certified version in lengths between 1.00 and 5.00 meters. The active version with an integrated signal amplifier is available in lengths between 7.50 and 15.00 meters.Up to a cable length of 2.00 meters, the outer diameter is 4.5mm with AWG34 and a bending radius of 8.5mm. From 3.00 meters cable length it is a diameter of 7.5mm with AWG28 and 14mm bending radius.The active cables (7.5 to 15.00 meters) are powered via the DisplayPort connector and do not require a separate power supply.
